About Me

I spent most of my childhood in South America (Ecuador, Chile, and Argentina), so I grew up speaking English, Spanish, and of course, Spanglish. I still consider Spanish the language of my heart, and I’m always thrilled to get a chance to use it in storytelling.

As the oldest of eight children, it was often my job to keep my little siblings, cousins, and their friends out of trouble without the help of video games or television. So I learned to make stories entertaining. When I had my own children, reading to them was my favorite part of the day.

I love to learn, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and I won the OSCPA’s Gold Medal award on the CPA exam. Having built a long career in corporate accounting & finance, I have a strong work ethic and understand the importance of hitting deadlines.

However, books and story-telling remain my first passion. To build my story-telling skills, I have taken voiceover and acting classes and webinars and have worked with coaches on both fiction and nonfiction narration. I’m still taking classes at OKC Improv (they’re so dang fun!), and I continue to attend workshops and webinars as the opportunity arises.

Today, I’m thrilled to be able to share my love of stories through audiobooks!
